Our History
Hotel Amager has been a cornerstone of Copenhagen's Amager district since 1995. Originally established as a modest family-run guesthouse, we have grown into one of the area's most beloved hotels, known for our unique combination of comfortable accommodation and vibrant sports bar atmosphere.
Over the decades, we have continuously renovated and modernized our facilities while maintaining the warm, welcoming spirit that has defined us from the beginning. Our recent renovation in 2024 brought all 25 rooms up to contemporary standards.
Architecture & Design
Our hotel's design philosophy balances contemporary comfort with practical functionality. The interiors feature clean Scandinavian aesthetics, with warm wood accents and thoughtful lighting that creates a welcoming ambiance throughout the property.
